“The reason for hospitalization in the emergency hospital in Minsk was a faint due to sweltering and hot weather. The swoon occurred on June 22, 2019 during a visit to Kovacevic and other employees of the Embassy of the Serbian team in the Athletes' Village, ”the statement reads.
It is noted that "being in the hospital is currently associated with the injury sustained during a syncope - a fracture of the ribs and the pneumothorex that has arisen."
Earlier it was reported that the Serbian ambassador to Minsk Velko Kovacevic was hospitalized with a suspicion of a stroke after seeing the Serbian President Alexander Vucic in the airport. The embassy later assessed the condition of the hospitalized ambassador of Serbia.
