Six Russian airlines operate flights from Russia to Georgia, including Aeroflot, Pobeda, S7, Ural Airlines, Red Wings and Nordavia.

“Some of them are ready to withdraw the Russians after July 8, but through the airports of Armenia and North Ossetia,” the deputy vice-premier said.

Earlier, the Association of Tourist Operators of Russia said that tour operators would offer Russians, who have already paid for tours to Georgia, a refund or vouchers to other destinations.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that prohibits Russian airlines from July 8 to carry out air transportation of citizens to Georgia.
