Ivan Blas, a photographer and phone expert on his Twitter page, has unveiled a copy of the new foldable phone, which is a confirmation that folding phone technology will be the highlight of 2019.

The new video shows a tablet-like screen that works well. The video folds the screen from both sides to shrink the screen size to a standard screen size for a smartphone when users do not want to use a tablet.

The video did not give further details about the device, and the video does not show the shape of the device due to low light, but the twinkle from Ivan confirmed the fact that the device is produced by the Chinese company Xiaomei.

Xiaomei is not the first company to attempt to produce folding phones. It was preceded by Samsung Korea and China's ZTE in their folding phone display earlier this year.

In November, Samsung unveiled its Infiniti Flex smartphone, while LG and Huawei are reportedly developing their own folding phone models.

Can not speak to the authenticity of this video or device, but it's allegedly made by Xiaomi, I'm told. Hot new phone, or gadget porn deepfake? pic.twitter.com/qwFogWiE2F
