A source in Libya's national reconciliation government said three naval vessels landed on Thursday at Ras Lanuf oil port in the east of the country, one carrying the French flag.

The source added that the pieces of marine ships were dropped warships and offensive weapons under the supervision of the commander of the naval forces of the retired brigade Khalifa Hafter.

Al-Jazeera correspondent had quoted Libyan sources as saying that a French warship entered the port of Ras Lanuf yesterday to refuel and water, while local sources in the region said the barge docked in the port for more than three hours and then left to an unknown destination.

The sources pointed out that the entry of the ship coincided with the deployment of a military force of the forces of Haftar inside the port and in the surrounding areas.

The sources told the island that the "piece of the sea" dropped a number of speedboats and assault weapons for human frogs.
