Monday's weather will be marked by the return of some thunderstorms over the northwest, according to Météo France forecasts.

A rainy morning on a large part of France. On the south-west quarter, the Massif Central and Rhône-Alpes to Burgundy Franche-Comté and Alsace, the morning will be rainy. It will snow in the mountains above 800 to 1,000 meters from the Vosges to the northern Alps and the Massif Central, more slowly to 1,500 meters on the Pyrenees. In the afternoon, the rains will become scattered in the plains and allow to penetrate fugitive clearings.

Precipitation will continue to be more frequent around the massifs, with a snow-to-snow limit falling to 600-800 meters above sea level on the eastern relief. The wind on the alpine relief and the risk of avalanches on the Savoyard massifs, remain important. From the north of the Seine and from the center to the north-east, short thunderstorms and cloudy periods sometimes carrying a shower will alternate.

A milder sky over the west and around the Mediterranean. In Brittany then to the Pays de la Loire, the sky will be warmer with some good sunny moments. Except for a few cloudy passages around the Gulf of Lion and western Corsica in the morning, the sun will often be generous in the Mediterranean regions, the Southern Alps and the Ile de Beauté. However, Tramontane and Mistral will spoil the day again, with gusts expected from 80 to locally over 100 km / h.

A cool day. It will be between 3 and 8 degrees in general, between 7 and 11 on the Mediterranean coast. The maximum will be slightly lower in the East, will show 5 to 9 degrees from East to East, 8 to 12 degrees elsewhere, 12 to 15 near the Big Blue to locally 17-18 on the French Riviera and Corsica.
