The antiterrorist section of the Paris prosecutor's office seized Tuesday the investigation initially opened on the island after a fire for a second home in Conca.

The antiterrorist prosecutor's office took the investigation into the fire of a second home in Conca in southern Corsica. This unoccupied second home belonging to a continental was discovered last Friday burned with the inscription: "the Corsican land to the Corsicans". The antiterrorist section of the Paris prosecutor's office seized Tuesday the investigation initially opened on the island, said the prosecutor of the Republic of Ajaccio Eric Bouillard.

Several secondary homes targeted

Since the beginning of March, several explosions or attempted destruction have targeted second homes on the island. The antiterrorist section of the Paris prosecutor's office has taken several inquiries, including that on the discovery on April 1 of two explosive charges, which have not exploded, in front of a treasury and the Departmental Directorate of Public Finance in Bastia, three days before a visit of Emmanuel Macron on the island. It had also investigated the explosion of a secondary home on a continental Sagone in late March and explosions in six second homes occurred in the night of March 9 to 10.
