A few hours earlier the Pinault family had announced to release 100 million euros to participate in the reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris. "It's a tragedy that affected us all, and I saw my 17-year-old daughter crying in front of the images," said François-Henri Pinault at Nikos Aliagas' microphone on Tuesday morning. "It took us to the guts with my father, we wanted to react right away, and we felt that it was an absolute obligation to rebuild this cathedral, and in these times it's also a very symbolic gesture." he explained.
