The fire that broke out Monday at the end of the day and ravaged part of the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral is totally "off," announced Tuesday shortly before 10 am the firefighters spokesperson.

"The whole fire is out, the phase is now to expertise," said Gabriel Plus, the spokesman for the Paris fire brigade at a press briefing in front of Notre-Dame, adding that the "violent fire" had "spread very rapidly over the entire roof" on "1,000 square meters".
