A source in the National Front for Change reported that the Sudanese army arrested Mohammed Ali al-Jazuli, head of the State of Law and Development Party, and took him to an unknown destination.
Al-Jazuli called last Monday for the Transitional Military Council to take a single position on all aspects of its foreign relations.

He also warned in other statements of the exclusion of forces of Islamic character by the forces of freedom and change, and stressed that the move would strike the social fabric of the country and prolong the life of the military junta in power.
