The widow of the late president from Paris spoke to the BBC about the "wisest" solution, the handover of power during the transitional period of Army Commander Ahmed Kayed Saleh.

She pointed out that the Algerian people went out to the streets after it was overflowing with the loss of confidence in its officials, and explained that the priority during the next stage is stability, and considered that the army commander is better able to ensure that now and spare the country back to the series of violence in the nineties of the last century .

Anisa Boumediene justified her position with success in the modernization of the Algerian army and promoted him to 23rd place in the list of the strongest armies in the world.

During the past weeks, the army commander expressed his support for the demands of the Algerian popular movement, and contributed to the use of Article 102 of the Constitution and the resignation of former President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
