London (AP) - The British Queen Elizabeth II has sent after the bus disaster with 29 dead on Madeira a letter of condolence to Germany. "Prince Philip and I were deeply saddened by the news of the bus crash on Madeira," wrote the Queen to Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. "We express our sincere condolences, our thoughts and prayers are with the families and relatives of those affected". The letter was published on the Twitter account of the British royal family. The disaster in Madeira killed 29 people Wednesday.
