Recently, a law has been introduced to install a device to check whether a 4-year-old child is abandoned in a heat-affected vehicle and to determine whether or not a child is going to be dropped off.

South Korea's Kim Hyun-ae, the ruling Liberal Democratic Party member, said today (Dec. 21)

According to the amendment, a person who operates a bus for children must install a device to check whether a child or infant is getting off the bus.

If you fail to comply with this, you have to impose a fine or detention of less than 200,000 won.

In the United States and Canada, there is a 'Sleeping Child Check System' that installs a button on the back of a school bus so that the driver can turn off the vehicle by pressing the button.

In addition, the current law requires bus drivers to check whether both children and infants have gotten off the bus, but there is no system or device to check it.

Kim said, "If we can not stop the talent that arises from the indifference and carelessness of adults, we should introduce a sleeping child check system so that we do not leave precious children away."
