Danish billionaire Anders Holz Forbesen has lost three of his four children to a blast in the Sri Lanka hotel and cathedral on Easter Sunday, AFP reported.

According to the Danish press, his wife and four children were staying in Sri Lanka for the Easter break during the explosion.

A spokesman for the clothing retail group "Bestseller" owned by Holt's Poblesen said in a statement, "We confirm that three children of Holt's Poblesen have been killed."

"I want to respect the privacy of my family," the spokesman said. "There is nothing more to comment on."

The 46-year-old Holtz poblens is considered Denmark's richest man and owns the largest share of the online fashion retailer 'ASOS' along with 'best sellers'.

He inherited the bestseller, a company founded in 1975 by his parents.

Best sellers include brands such as Vero Moda, Only, Jack & Jones, and more than 3,000 stores in 70 countries.

Earlier, Sri Lanka officials pointed to the local radical Islamist organization NTJ, National Tauhit Zamat, behind the terrorist attacks.

At least 290 people were killed and 500 were wounded in the blast, according to AFP.
