Once to the Attersee, please: The police in Upper Austria stopped on Tuesday before the motorway exit Asten / St. Florian a small car, which transported an animal rider - in the back seat.

A 72-year-old had extended the rear seat of his Fiat Punto to drive a Shetland pony to Uterach on the Attersee. So the back of the car looked almost like a stable. The driver had sprinkled straw behind the front seats and tied the pony to a rear seat posture with a rope.

Is this really one of the famous Italian cars with horse ...? Police asked themselves in Enns. They stopped a Fiat Punto - with a horsepower in the back seat ♂ # nonsoloferrari #huimeinstallhatreifen pic.twitter.com/SRTy0nadnI

When asked where the 72-year-old was headed, he replied that he wanted to bring the animal to the Attersee to another pony. After the police had discussed with the district captain Linz-Land and the animal transport inspector from Upper Austria, they allowed the man and his pony the onward journey.
