Laurent Mariotte SEASON 2023 - 202412h30, 07 October 2023

Laurent Mariotte surrounds himself with bon vivants for a show about everyday cooking: whether they are chefs, artists or intellectuals, they have in common this passion for eating well and share it for 1h30 with the listeners of Europe 1. Gourmet walks through the markets and among the producers, simple recipes and advice close to the concerns of the listeners... The unmissable event for gourmets!

Seasonal products and advice, Laurent Mariotte and his bon vivants are here for the sixth season of La table des Bons vivants! A show to help you eat well and understand what you eat.

This week, Laurent Mariotte is surrounded by Lyon-based chef Sonia Ezgulia and bistronome Yves Camdeborde.

Every week, Laurent Mariotte and his columnists talk about their taste of the week. Whether it's a flavour that marked their week, a restaurant that caught their eye, a dish they cooked or that was concocted for them. The opportunity to discover new flavours or new addresses, favourites but also rants. This week, Sona Ezgulian dabbled in savory babka. Yves Camdeborde salutes the Roanne Festival: Open Table. And Laurent Mariotte tells us about the hake cooked in the Spanish style, from the restaurant La Plancha D'Ilbarritz.

It is also an opportunity for you, dear listeners of Europe 1, to tell us about your taste for the week. If you wish to participate, you have two options: on the Europe 1 answering machine on 01 80 20 39 21 (free number) or on the Facebook page of the programme "Laurent Mariotte, le groupe des bons vivants d'Europe 1". One listener will be selected each week.

In the second part of the show, this week, Laurent Mariotte makes you discover the vineyards of Ile-de-France. On the occasion of the competition of wines of Ile-de-France from IGP estates, organized by Le Parisien and La Revue du vin de France, in partnership with Europe 1. Joining us to talk about it: Mathieu Janin, editor of Le Parisien and head of the Seine-Saint-Denis and Hauts-de-Seine editions, and the winner of this competition, in white and red wine: Pierric Petit. He is the winemaker who has brought back to life the vines of the Domaine des Coteaux du Montguichet, in Chelles, Seine-et-Marne. You will learn that it has been possible for less than 10 years to replant vines in Ile-de-France... and that very fine wines are in the making.

The report of the week! The first is dedicated to recipes: should you follow them to the letter to make your dish a success? With Victor Coutard, author of the book Au pif! published by Editions du Rouergue. They look back at the history of the cookbook and the codification of recipes. But also about household icons and great names in gastronomic literature.

As in every episode, the team at the table des bons vivants continues to play with you. Laurent Mariotte makes you listen to a sound related to cooking: kitchen noise. It's up to you to find out.

Columnist Sonia Ezgulian talks to us about discovering African cuisine. And chef Yves Camdeborde brings pears into the kitchen, with a recipe for a magnificent chocolate-pear cake, and the chef's tips!

Every week, a dish of the day is made. This Saturday, it's Tom Truy Courties, chef of L'auberge de Monceaux in Saint-Omer-en-Chaussée, in the Oise region, who is in charge. He makes mirror-like eggs, with a fricassee of freshly picked porcini mushrooms. The recipe can be found on Europe1.fr.

At the end of the episode, Laurent Mariotte puts the gastronomic journalist Caroline Anglade on the grill of the Bons vivants. He answers Laurent Mariotte's questions so that we get to know her better on the other side of the range. What is the dish of your childhood? What's always in your fridge? What's your secret address? What is the word for hunger? Here are some of the questions asked by Laurent Mariotte. We discover that Caroline Anglade is greedy!
