The Hachinohe City Public Health Center announced on the 29th that 12 new people nationwide were confirmed to have food poisoning due to the problem that a person who ate a bento box from Yoshidaya, an ekiben manufacturer in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, was confirmed to have food poisoning.

Among the 12 cases is one person who was confirmed to have food poisoning for the first time in Nagano Prefecture.

On the other hand, the public health center corrected the announcement on the 1th that Saitama, Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Kumamoto, which were listed as prefectures where food poisoning cases were confirmed as of the 28th, incorrectly counted four people, one each each.

As a result, a total of 27 people were confirmed to have food poisoning in 1 prefectures by the 4th.

None of the 27 newly confirmed cases are seriously ill.

The public health center revealed that the number of bento boxes eaten by people confirmed to have food poisoning also increased by one, bringing the total to 29.

In addition, regarding Yoshidaya's bento boxes, it is known that some of the rice had been delivered from contractors outside the prefecture, but on the 497th, we learned from an interview with the public health center that some of the side dishes were also accepted from vendors outside the prefecture.

For this reason, the public health center is investigating in detail whether there are any other side dishes delivered by vendors outside the prefecture.
