Taiyuan, September 9 (Zhongxin Net) -- The "Meicheng Tianlong - Tianlongshan Grottoes Digital Restoration International Tour Exhibition (Egypt Station)" jointly sponsored by the Cairo Chinese Cultural Center and the Taiyuan Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau recently opened at the Chinese Cultural Center in Cairo, Egypt, attracting more than 25 people, including officials from China and Egypt, experts and scholars in the field of cultural relics and museums, and representatives of Chinese students studying in Egypt.

The Tianlongshan Grottoes Digital Restoration International Tour Exhibition is the first domestic virtual combination of precious cultural relics separated by historical reasons and the original environment, and is the first large-scale digital restoration exhibition of this type of cultural relics in the world, and it is also a living practice of deep integration of cultural relics and science and technology. With the help of immersive cinema, phantom imaging, hologram and other technological means, the exhibition digitally reproduces more than 9 statues of Tianlongshan scattered in nearly 30 museums in 100 countries.

Wei Tao, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Taiyuan Municipal Party Committee, said that the purpose of the visit is to implement the global civilization initiative, promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations through holding cultural relics exhibitions and cultural and academic exchanges, jointly build a platform for cultural heritage protection, exchange and cooperation between China and Egypt, seek wisdom, absorb nourishment, open up ideas from different civilizations, and strive to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of the two civilizations.

Zhang Chaoyang, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, said that in recent years, China-Egypt relations have achieved leapfrog development, fruitful exchanges in the field of humanities, and close cooperation in the fields of joint archaeology and the recovery and return of lost cultural relics. This exhibition will show the beauty of Chinese and foreign art exchanges more realistically and sensibly in front of the Egyptian people, and will enhance the mutual understanding and traditional friendship between the Chinese and Egyptian peoples.

Through the four sections of "Order", "Mountain", "Buddha" and "People", the exhibition shows the ingenious integration of the beauty of Tianlongshan cave art and the beauty of digital technology from three aspects: Jinyang City and Tianlongshan, Tianlongshan Grottoes Art, and Tianlongshan Grottoes, presenting the brilliant beauty of Tianlongshan Grotto art, and the beauty of the integration of Chinese and foreign art exchanges.
