"The Voice": an emblematic coach leaves the TF1 show

Sad news for fans of The Voice... An emblematic coach of the show has just announced that he would not restack for the thirteenth season of the famous singing competition of TF1. And it is therefore Amel Bent who will not find his red chair next season. The interpreter of My Philosophy, coach in The Voice for four consecutive years, wants to focus on new projects. This is what she explained on the stage of the Zenith in Paris on September 22, where she gave the very last concert of her tour.

"I really need to give everything in this album"

"It's time for me to go back to the studio, go back to writing, go back to making songs and make you a fucking eighth album, the best. For that, unfortunately, there will be a lot of adventures that I'm used to being a part of, that I could not assume because I really need to give everything in this album. You won't see me on TV. Nowhere," she told her audience. The singer, who released her latest album Vivante two years ago, will take a long media break, the time to find inspiration for her next opus.

After her last concert, Amel Bent deleted all the photos from her Instagram account and shared a snap of her, in black and white, alone on stage, fist raised: "The road stops there for me, but I will find you on the way, because your love is my compass," she wrote in the caption of her post.

The 38-year-old singer will be replaced by another artist in The Voice next January... It remains to be seen if Jenifer will take advantage of her departure to make her big comeback in the show...
