She was apparently very attached to her watch: A woman in Michigan climbed into an outhouse to get out her Apple Watch. However, she did not make it out herself and had to be rescued.
The incident occurred on Tuesday at Dixon Lake, according to police. The woman called for help, reports the Michigan State Police. The alarmed rescue workers had removed the toilet and pulled the woman out of the collection area for the feces with a belt.
Warning from the police
"She was in the crap, if you will," a Michigan State Police spokesman told the Detroit Free Press. The woman found her watch, was not injured and was very grateful to the helpers.
Despite the happy outcome, the police warn: "If you lose an object in an outhouse, do not try to get into the reception area. Serious injuries can occur."
