American serial actor Billy Miller has died at the age of 43. This was announced by his manager on Sunday to several US media. Accordingly, Miller had already died on Friday in his native Texas. Sunday would have been his 44th birthday.

Miller is known from series such as "General Hospital" and "Suits". For his role as Billy Abbott in the series "The Young and the Restless", he won three Daytime Emmy Awards.

According to his manager, Miller recently suffered from a "manic-depressive disorder," also known as bipolar disorder.

On the Twitter account of »Shadows of Passion«, the news of Miller's death was later confirmed. The creators of the series expressed their condolences to the family in it.

Fellow actress Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a photo of herself with Miller on her Instagram story on Sunday and wrote: "Rest in peace, Billy. It was an honor to work with you, and an even greater honor to know you."

Miller is survived by his longtime partner, model and actress Kelly Monaco, as well as his mother Patricia, sister Megan, brother-in-law Ronnie, nephew Grayson and niece Charley.
