At the Oktoberfest, eight people were slightly injured in an accident on a ride. Two cars collided on Saturday evening, police said.
The accident is said to have occurred on the roller coaster "Höllenblitz", as the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" reports. Accordingly, the cars collided there around 22.15 p.m. Two people were taken to a hospital. The »Bild« newspaper was the first to report.
According to the operator, the "Höllenblitz" is the largest indoor roller coaster in the world. According to police, the ride was blocked. It is still unclear how the accident occurred. An expert was appointed to the scene of the accident.
