A 38-year-old office worker was arrested for sneaking into a ramen shop in Kuki City, Saitama Prefecture, and trying to steal sales money from a ticket vending machine. The office worker hinted that he had sneaked into more than 10 other ramen shops, and police are investigating the details.
The suspect arrested was Shunsuke Igusa (38), an office worker from Miyashiro Town, Saitama Prefecture.
According to the police, in the early morning of the 11th of this month, he sneaked into a ramen shop in Kuki City and tried to steal sales money from a ticket vending machine, and is suspected of attempted theft.
The store did not leave cash in the store after opening as a crime prevention measure.
It was found from the security camera footage of the store that the suspect was suspected of being involved in the incident, and in response to the investigation, he admitted to the charge, saying, "I was in debt for gambling and needed money."

A security camera inside the ramen shop recorded a suspect wearing a black hat and a mask heading in the direction of the ticket vending machine through the chubo after hearing a sound that sounded like a door breaking at around 11:3 a.m. on the 50th of this month.
After that, I searched for the bunches again and walked out of the store in less than a minute.
As a crime prevention measure, this store keeps the front of the ticket vending machine open after business so that it can be seen that there is no money inside, and it seems that the suspect gave up immediately.
