Wuyi Mountain

In 2019, the Yellow (Bohai) Sea Migratory Bird Habitat (Phase I) project in China was approved for inscription on the World Heritage List.

It is home to the world's largest intertidal tidal tidal flats and is the central node of the East Asian-Australasian migratory bird migration route with the most endangered species.

The Yellow Sea Wetland in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, where the first phase of the project is located, has more than 680 species of vertebrates and more than 500 species of invertebrates, including 415 species of birds, and is a resting, moulting and wintering ground for millions of migratory birds around the world.

Fanjing Mountain, Guizhou

It is also the only habitat and distribution of the golden snub-nosed monkey and the Fanjing Mountain fir, and is the most important protected area in Asia, the richest area of gymnosperms in the world, and the richest bryophyte in the Oriental deciduous forest bioregion.

Qinghai Cocoxili

In 2017, Cocoxili successfully "applied for the World Heritage Site".

Located in the northwest of Qinghai Province, Kekexili National Nature Reserve is home to rare wild species such as Tibetan antelope, wild yak and Tibetan wild ass. It's a wildlife paradise.

Kekexili has accumulated rich and special geological, ecological, biological and property resources, preserved the most complete plateau plane on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and is a nature reserve with better preservation of the original geological landform and ecological environment in the world.

Shennongjia

In 2016, Shennongjia successfully applied for the World Heritage Site. It is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, with unique geographical location and climatic characteristics, giving birth to rich animal and plant resources, and is known as the "green miracle" at the same latitude in the northern hemisphere.

Even more precious is the integrity, authenticity, non-reproducibility and non-reproducibility of natural resources and their ecosystems that are rare in the world. In Shennongjia, there are many rare wild animals such as golden monkeys and leopards.

Quanzhou: The world maritime trade center of Song and Yuan China

In 2021, at the 44th session of the World Heritage Committee, "Quanzhou: Song and Yuan China's World Ocean Trade Center" was inscribed on the World Heritage List.

"Quanzhou: The World Marine Trade Center of Song and Yuan China" is a series of cultural heritage that was born from the 10th to the 14th century and has survived to this day, distributed in the Quanzhou Bay area with today's Quanzhou urban area as the core, including 22 heritage sites such as the Jiuzhishan Prayer Wind Stone Carvings and the Shibusi Ruins.

The successful application of the project once again proves the glorious history and traditional belief of exchanges and mutual learning between ancient China and other civilizations in the world, and shows the international community the broad vision, broad mind, outstanding wisdom and unremitting pursuit of self-improvement and pioneering spirit of the Chinese nation.

Ruins of Liangzhu Ancient City

In 2019, the ruins of the ancient city of Liangzhu, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, were inscribed on the World Heritage List.

It is the center of power and belief of the Liangzhu culture, and the overall value of its heritage is carried by artificial relics such as the city site, the peripheral water conservancy system, the hierarchical cemetery (including the altar) and the excavated artifacts represented by Liangzhu jade.

It is worth noting that Liangzhu jade is rich in variety and well-made, and many are also carved with fine ornaments, reaching the peak of China's prehistoric jade level. The craftsmanship is breathtaking.

Gulangyu Island: International Historical Community

In 2017, "Gulangyu Island: Historical International Community" was successfully applied for the World Heritage Site.

Gulangyu Island is located at the mouth of the Jiulong River in Fujian, because the southwest coastal reef is hit by the waves, the sound is like a drum, "Gulang" Island is named, known as the "sea garden", also known as "piano island", "music island".

The development of Gulangyu Island clearly records the convergence and spread of cultures of different countries on Gulangyu Island, and records the basic characteristics of early modern Chinese architecture absorbing Nanyang and Western styles.

Here, the cultural relics and monuments of Gulangyu Island are not only cultural heritage, but also constitute a living environment that can be felt and touched.

Guangxi Zuojiang Huashan rock paintings

In 2016, the rock art cultural landscape of Huashan in Zuojiang, Guangxi successfully passed the review and was successfully applied for the World Heritage Site.

According to reports, most of the rock paintings in Zuojiang Huashan are located at the bend of the river, on the tall cliffs facing the incoming water, and most of the pictures are 15 to 100 meters from the water surface, and the highest is 130 meters. The petroglyphs are painted using bright and strong ochre red pigments, and the images can be roughly summarized into three categories: people, typical objects, and animals, mainly portraits.

These rock paintings have a wide range of locations, great difficulty in painting, and majestic pictures, which have important scientific research and artistic value.

Toast ruins

In 2015, China's "Tusi Sites" were successfully inscribed on the World Heritage List, including the Laosi City Site in Yongshun in Hunan Province, the Tusi City Site in Enshi Tangya in Hubei Province, and the Hailongtun in Zunyi, Guizhou.
