American beaver twins are born at a creature exhibition facility in Suita City, Osaka, and their adorable appearance is gaining popularity.

At Nifrel, a creature exhibition facility in Expo Memorial Park in Suita City, Osaka, twin American beaver babies were born on the 2nd of this month.

The twins have brown and dark brown hair on their bodies, respectively, and their sex is not yet known.

Their weight is growing steadily at about 7 grams as of the 700th.

According to the facility's veterinarians, American beavers are difficult to breed, and this is the first time in five years that a baby has been born at the facility since June 2018.

Visitors to the facility enjoyed taking pictures of the twin babies breastfeeding and sleeping in the nest.

A woman in her 20s from Toyonaka City said, "This is the first time I've seen a baby beaver, and it was small and cute."

Veterinarian Shoki Murakami said, "Beavers are rare animals in which both male and female couples are involved in raising their children, so I hope you will enjoy watching them grow up slowly."
