Prince Harry's trial against the "Mirror Group Newspapers" begins this Monday, June 5 in London. The son of King Charles III, who resides in Los Angeles, arrived in the United Kingdom on Sunday. Did he make the trip with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children Archie and Lilibet, who had stayed in the United States for the king's coronation?

Prince Harry is back in London. A month after the coronation of his father, King Charles III, the Duke of Sussex flew back to attend his trial against the Mirror Group Newspapers, which began on Monday, June 5 at the High Court in London. The grandson of Elizabeth II, at war with the tabloids, accuses the press group of having used illegal methods to obtain information about his private life.

Prince Harry certainly came to the UK alone

But, general surprise Monday morning: he was not present for the opening of the trial. His lawyer David Sherborne explained that he had arrived in London the day before but "the travel and security arrangements are more complicated for him than for the other witnesses" prevented him from appearing at the High Court in London. He will therefore indeed be present for the other days of the trial.

But will he be able to count on the support of his wife Meghan Markle? Did she make the trip with him and their two children Archie and Lilibet? These questions are on everyone's lips across the Channel. Because Prince Harry's little family had remained in Los Angeles at the time of the coronation of Charles III. "It seems therefore likely that the Duke came alone to follow his legal proceedings," say our colleagues from Hello magazine. Especially since Prince Harry had also come alone to the United Kingdom to his lawsuit against the publisher of the Daily Mail.

Lilibet celebrated its second anniversary

Meghan Markle certainly enjoys the Californian sun from their villa in Montecito, with her mother Doria Ragland, who regularly comes to look after Archie and Lilibet. Harry and Meghan's granddaughter celebrated her second birthday on Sunday, June 4. To mark the occasion, Meghan and Harry organized a big party "very American", to which many celebrities were invited.
