U.S. actor Mark Hamill no longer sees himself in the role of Luke Skywalker in "Star Wars," according to his own words. I've had my time, and that's good. But it's enough," the 71-year-old said in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.

When asked if there was a possibility of his return, Hamill said, "Never say never." At the same time, he added, "I mean, they have so many stories to tell that they don't need Luke anymore."

Mark Hamill appeared in front of the camera for the first time in 1977 as Luke Skywalker in »Star Wars«. Since then, he has returned to the screen again and again in this role. Hamill also starred in the latest installments of the "Star Wars" series, "The Last Jedi" (2017) and "The Rise of Skywalker" (2019).

He also appeared in several episodes of the Disney Plus series »The Mandalorian« (2019), where the role played by Hamill returned in a younger form thanks to CGI technology.
