The singer's private collection has been on display for several days in the American city, where fans of the group Queen are rushing. The reason: cult objects from his career - never seen by the general public - including the original draft of "Bohemian Rhapsody", the legendary song of the group.

No less than 1,500 objects that the public has never seen. In New York, an auction of the private collection of iconic Queen singer Freddie Mercury is about to be organized. Within the collection, several cult objects from the singer's career, but also the "jewel of the queen" of this exhibition: the manuscript of Bohemian Rhapsody. Scratched words, scribbled by Freddie Mercury's hand fifty years ago, on the stationery of a former airline.

We discover the initial title of this cult ballad, Mongolian Rhapsody, the Mongolian poem. The estimated value of this draft: nearly one and a half million euros. A booklet presented with other manuscripts, such as those of the hits Don't Stop Me Now or We Are The Champions.

Other treasures are out, including Freddie Mercury's wardrobe. In this extraordinary auction, fans can find a pair of size 42 sneakers, a snake bracelet, a silver moustached comb and the famous burgundy velvet king's suit - supplied with the crown - that Freddie Mercury wore on the Magic tour in 1986.

And after New York, these Freddie Mercury objects will be exhibited in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and London in August, before the big auction scheduled from September 6 to 13.
