Today, the world is preoccupied with the rapid development in the field of artificial intelligence, which has become the focus of everyone's attention after direct communication with it became available through chat platforms such as Chat GPT and others.

It is worth noting that there are two perspectives on the subject of artificial intelligence, the first is that artificial intelligence is simply something new that fascinated the public and will not exceed being a "trend" or "gift" as it is colloquially called, and then things straighten out, so the machine, no matter how intelligent, cannot replace the creative and innovative human mind.

The second perspective shouts at the top of its voice, warning of the seriousness of what is happening, and even goes to the extent that it is the beginning of the end of the entire human race, supported by a huge number of science fiction films since the seventies of the last century until today that predict the control of artificial intelligence over humans and other scenarios that see the superiority of the machine over the human is an inevitable result of what is happening.

Perhaps the truth is somewhere between this perspective and that, there is no dispute that artificial intelligence is a revolutionary technological transformation that affects our contemporary lives in many ways and helps improve autonomous systems and automation, which increases production efficiency and reduces human errors, and can also be used to analyze huge amounts of data and extract valuable insights for intelligent, knowledge-based and evidence-based decision-making.

The smart refrigerator can realize its contents and has an Internet connection, so it automatically requests the needs that are missing from the online store, and the smart washing machine does the same step periodically to buy washing powder and fabric softener

However, its highly technical development that created new functions in areas such as software development, data analytics, specialized artificial intelligence, and data management is now a threat to other functions that are no longer cost-effective or efficient for humans to perform in an alternative such as artificial intelligence.

These functions extend from a simple level such as unskilled labor, translation, proofreading and automated customer service, to an advanced level such as financial analysis through the analysis of financial statements and investments, which helps in making smart investment decisions and providing recommendations to investors, or legal analysis by analyzing legal texts and searching for specific legal information, which helps lawyers in preparing cases and finding gaps.

In addition, artificial intelligence has become an integral part of the daily routine in many forms and applications today, which many overlook. When you browse the Internet, move between apps and websites, and get in the way of an ad for something you personally need, you innocently wonder what coincidence that put that ad in front of you. Let me tell you that artificial intelligence algorithms that are used in what is called improving the online shopping experience have been used for decades, where the smart system analyzes your data and browsing history to provide personalized recommendations, targeted advertising, and a personalized buying experience, and to answer the important question in your mind, yes your phone listens to you, and you can imagine what those same algorithms can do as well.

The role of built-in voice applications such as Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri that provide all the information a person needs through simple voice commands, enable individuals to interact with smart devices and control home automation systems, but learn from the person's habits and adapt the atmosphere according to them, which is done through the work of integrated applications with other applications within smart devices in your home, a cooperation that works in your favor and serves you, so far.

AI has very important uses in health, healthcare, surgical robotics, security systems, surveillance, facial recognition and interpretation. Artificial intelligence is one of the basics of operating self-driving cars, as it analyzes data from advanced devices such as sensors, cameras and radars to make smart and safe decisions while driving.

From my personal experience and within the scope of my work, I attended a presentation made by Samsung at the beginning of 2009 to review their progress in the field of smart cities that rely almost entirely on artificial intelligence, in this presentation Samsung presented an experience that was already implemented within the company's residential cities at that time and not about an imaginary conception that it hopes to achieve one day.

Imagine that your life is managed through your virtual server as follows, you wake up to your favorite music according to your usual daily schedule or according to your schedule that day. The windows are equipped with a transparent film so that your view is interactive and different every day, today your room overlooks the sea and tomorrow you live at the top of a mountain and so on, you are limited only by what you can imagine.

Once you wake up, the AI starts implementing your daily routine in terms of equipping the bathroom with the water temperature you prefer, turning on the coffee machine, steaming your clothes and preparing them according to the expected weather temperature.

Put on your clothes and eat breakfast prepared in the smart cooking device, then you go out and find the car has been pre-started because it is linked to sensors that determine your exit from the house, which by the way is what happens when you return as well, as soon as the car approaches the house, the routine for your return begins from the settings of air conditioners, lighting, and others.

The smart refrigerator is aware of its contents and has an Internet connection, so it automatically requests the needs that are missing from the online store, and the smart washing machine does the same step periodically to buy washing powder and fabric softener, and the TV searches through channels for your favorite programs and series or what you can like according to your preferences system and records them for you. This is just the tip of the iceberg, and I can only imagine how far it has come today after nearly 15 years.

In short, artificial intelligence can play a crucial role in promoting innovation, industry development and human well-being, but we must be careful and deal carefully and consciously with the ethical and privacy challenges that accompany the development of artificial intelligence.
