Emma, also known as Swebliss, is one of Sweden's biggest female streamers on the platform Twitch. In early 2020, she was exposed to the internet trend "swatting" – where someone alerts about an imaginary serious crime going on in a home, while someone is livestreaming from there.
The purpose is to see how the broadcaster reacts when the police enter the home.
Multiple spirits exposed
Other streamers, in different places in Sweden, were also exposed to similar incidents at the time. During December 2019 and January 2020, the police responded to at least eight cases of "swatting" in Sweden.
