Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan and their eldest daughter Aiko viewed a special exhibition commemorating their 30th wedding anniversary at a department store in Tokyo on the evening of the 30th.
The special exhibition was held to commemorate the 5th anniversary of their marriage on June 6, 9, and Their Majesties and Aiko arrived at the venue of the department store in Chuo-ku, Tokyo shortly after 30:30 p.m. on June 8.
On the first floor, the convertible in which Their Majesties rode in the parade of motorcades following the "Wedding Ceremony" at the Imperial Palace is on display, along with photographs and videos from that time.

According to the person in charge who gave the explanation, in the exhibition of photos of Aiko's high school graduation ceremony, when Aiko said, "You cut your bangs too much," the Empress looked back and said, "You cut your bangs yourself," and the family laughed out loud.
In the discussion after the viewing, the Empress said, "It's been 250 years, so it's been a blink of an eye," and there was also a scene where the Emperor laughed bitterly when Aiko asked her to "reproduce" the words of the proposal.
