"I'm back in the mountains, and I hope to help more children get out of the mountains." On May 5, Pan Xingrong, an iron police officer who came to Pu'an in Guizhou to teach support, said in an interview. Pan Xingrong has extensive experience teaching in remote mountainous areas, having been teaching for five years in his hometown of Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province before joining the police.

On April 4 this year, according to the unified arrangements of the Railway Public Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, Panxingrong came to Dabang Primary School in Panshui Street, Pu'an County, Qianxian Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and became the first designated teacher of railway public security nationwide.

"As a 'police teacher', I want students to learn to protect themselves first." About 80 percent of the children in Dabang Primary School are left-behind children, and here Pan Xingrong chose to become a physical education teacher, and he can't wait to help these children who lack the love of their fathers and have a weak sense of protection become stronger. Tape welt, brush to draw lines, he bought floor paint at his own expense, and led the students to build their own improvised basketball court; Practice the queue and pace, and the children's sense of discipline is gradually formed; Carry out legal publicity and practice outside the school in tea gardens, so that children can gradually learn to protect themselves. "Let the seeds of the concept of peace and rule of law and good behavior grow in the hearts of every student." Pan Xingrong said this was his dual role as a police officer and teacher.

A bright red national flag fluttered in the middle of the two-story teaching building, and Pan Xingrong initially trained a special flag guard team here, in his words, "Where there is a five-star red flag, how can there be no flag guard!" ”

In addition to daily teaching, Pan Xingrong also actively participates in the safety management of the school, wearing a police uniform every day after school to be on duty as a "nursing post", and the children are revered and curious about this new police teacher, and they also like to gather around him after class. The dialects of Yungui and Gui are very close, Pan Xingrong has no problem chatting with the children, and the children also like this police teacher.

"Recently, I was learning to make milk tea on my own, and I want to surprise the children." Pan Xingrong said. It turned out that after a recent physical education class, a sixth-grade boy pulled Pan Xingrong and secretly asked if he could bring him a cup of milk tea the next time he left the county. Pan Xingrong suddenly realized that for the children in the mountains, the drinks that can be found everywhere in these urban areas may be "rare things". Just before the "June 1st" Children's Day, Pu'an County is rich in tea, Pan Xingrong came up with the idea of making milk tea for children to celebrate "June 1st", and began to study and practice.

At night, birds and insects chirped in the mountains, street lamps donated by the iron police and the lights of Pan Xingrong's lesson preparation lit up the silence in the mountains, and the emotions of longing began to spread in my heart. Pan Xingrong's lover is also a teacher, teaching in his hometown of Wenshan, Yunnan, and the child is not yet one year old, he relies on video calls every day to chat with his wife and children, "I have to brush the 'familiarity' in front of the child every day, otherwise she will not recognize me when she turns back."

While imparting knowledge, Pan Xingrong pays more attention to children's physical and mental health and how to help them build self-confidence. Pan Xingrong said: "I hope that the most important thing is not to get out of the mountain of geography, but out of the mountain of thought and barriers, and change their destiny through learning."
