On Monday, May 29, 2023, Camille Cerf answered questions from her fans via stories on Instagram. Asked about her absence at the Cannes Film Festival, the former Miss France replied, in a very cash way, that she simply did not want to go "neither this year, nor ever", and for a very particular reason...

Camille Cerf is on a small cloud. The 28-year-old model will soon discover the joys of motherhood. The young woman announced that she was pregnant with her first child on April 26. "I didn't want to say it too soon. Out of superstition, I didn't want to announce a problem if that had been the case. My partner and I didn't plan to have a child right away. It was a kind of surprise!" she explained a fortnight later in an interview for Télé-Loisirs.

"I never found that I had my place in Cannes"

Since then, the former Miss France is making the most of her pregnancy with her husband Théo Fleury. The couple recently spent a very relaxing holiday in Marrakech, where Camille Cerf posed in a one-piece swimsuit, baby bump visible, by the pool and on the balcony of their hotel room. On her return to France, Iris Mittenaere's great friend preferred to stay at home, in Lille, rather than fly to Cannes for the Festival.

Asked by her fans about this, Camille Cerf answered in a very cash way in a story shared on her Instagram account Monday, May 29, 2023. "No, no Cannes. Not this year, not never, for the moment, for that matter. I never found that I had my place in Cannes. I go to the cinema almost every week (a little less since I am pregnant because I have back pain) and I share my opinions on the films, no need to be in Cannes to do it. I do not see what my presence will bring to this Festival that I love to follow. If I have to go, it will be because I am in a film and I will represent it, "said the former beauty queen. Camille Cerf is also not a big fan of red carpets and never really enjoys this kind of events. "But preparing for weeks to find an outfit, jewelry, and make-up that will make the difference, it's always been something I hate. Especially since I always find myself ugly in the photos of the red carpets. In the same way, I never do Fashion Week," she added.
