This month, we held elections that are not surprising to those who follow Turkey from real, professional and credible media, media outlets that convey to the world the truth of what is really happening on the ground and do not fabricate illusions and lies, despite all the figures published by major opinion pollsters in the last months before the elections, we have all seen a completely different result from the one that happened in the first round.
I wonder who their country is at a real crossroads and makes their sources of information the media fabricating lies and contributing to fueling polarization in our society, and for these the elections were decided beyond any doubt in favor of Kılıçdaroğlu, the problem is that they do not realize the amount of misinformation and lies they are exposed to from these sources and surrender their minds and ears to them, so they are unable to form their own visions, and as a result their choices often do not go in the right direction.
The difference in results between the world of social media and satellite channels and the results that came out of the field was very confusing and confusing for people who could see both sides, as if there were two separate worlds that did not belong to the same country and circumstances.
Unfortunately, those who were sure of Kılıçdaroğlu's victory did not hesitate to openly express what they think and feel about Turkey and their rivals in particular if they really won, expressing hatred, sharpness and aggression at a very critical time when feelings should have been friendlier, because coming out in such a crude way poses a serious threat to everyone who does not look like them, but a threat to all citizens who are supposed to live together in one country and decide their fate together. Through the ballot box.
The state of violent polarization in any society is the prelude to real collapse, the prelude to the clash with ominous consequences, a warning of confrontations with uncalculated consequences and the gateway to external interventions, in short, a prelude to boundless devastation and destruction at all levels.
Democratic elections in the country are not held to fuel hatred and polarization, so that the coexistence of society with each other after the end of the elections becomes much harder and worse than before.
In the previous elections there were an incredible number of people who had previously talked about trial, summary execution, deportation from the country, imprisonment, extermination, etc., what kind of hatred there is in the souls that this talk can come out of! Surprisingly, they lived in the shadow of this rival who said they would imprison him for years, but no one learns from the past and uses it for the benefit of his future.
There were many reasons why the opposition was so self-confident, such as support for the United States, the raging conflict between the AKP, the PKK and the FETÖ, the promotion of the lie of Erdogan ignoring millennials, and the presence of millions of trolls on social media.
They hate Erdogan since the first day of his election
We believe that a large part of those who say they are tired of the AKP or Erdogan actually never voted for the party or Erdogan at any time in their lives, and since Erdogan first came to power they have not accepted him and never given him the opportunity to see what he is doing, the continuous achievements and the good that has pervaded the country in many ways, and they have always hated him all the way.
In short, their anti-Erdogan stance was not something cumulative over time that formed in them after real positions and visions, but it was a consistent position from day one, and then his long stay in power exacerbated their hatred of him.
They were never interested in the great advancement that took place in the state, nor in services, nor in openings and projects, but on the contrary, the more they feel, the more annoyed and hostile they felt, despite the fact that they are intellectuals, elites and minded people in the country.
This time they were very sure
In the current elections, they formed an unprecedented coalition in the history of Turkey whose first goal is to overthrow Erdogan using the same method they tried in the municipal elections, entering the elections as if they were planning a unified process led by one person, this time they were sure that the path they tested and tried in the municipal elections will certainly work and eliminate Erdogan.
There were many reasons why they were confident, including support for the United States, the raging conflict between the AKP, the PKK and the FETÖ, the promotion of the lie that Erdogan ignored millennials, the presence of millions of trolls on social media, the fierce onslaught of European media, businessmen, and many other factors that they imagined would undoubtedly settle the matter in their favor, but the reality on the ground was otherwise.
They talked in the media and social media with full confidence about the definite defeat of Erdogan and about holding him accountable after that, judging him and taking revenge on him, they were tempted by these factors that they deluded themselves with and believed them, sparing no effort in revealing their feelings and hatred in front of the whole world and in front of our citizens without any shame, so their language and speech became similar to the language and speech of mafia criminals.
Who is the repairman? And who is the Savior?
What can we expect from a group whose sole goal is revenge on the president who led the country to the renaissance it is now? Of course, we will not expect a coherent electoral program or a vision to move the country and the people forward, but the only promises are promises of destruction and revenge if they fail.
What is surprising is that we heard this talk before that in the last election cycle, and after Erdogan's victory, he sought with all his strength and resources to fulfill what everyone promised, those who voted for him and those who voted against him, those who supported him and those who stood against him, everyone without exception as long as they are citizens under the banner of this generous country who received the good that Erdogan sought for Turkey, he did not utter any word that offended his opponents, but his permanent response was inclusion and respect for all his people.
Politicizing the tragedies of the people
The opposition politicized his interest in the victims of the earthquake in the worst politicization, so they described him and the government as earthquake tourists, and because this is pure lie and slander, Erdogan and his fans felt the pain of the earthquake victims in their hearts, and they carried out many relief to our afflicted brothers following the accident, from urgent financial aid, allocating 100 billion Turkish liras for the aid provided to the earthquake victims, and providing health care to those affected and providing them with assistance.
The government immediately rented rooms in public and tourist hotels to host those affected by the quake, halted classes at universities and turned university towns into shelter for them.
One of the most beautiful humanitarian attitudes that are credited to Erdogan and the AKP is the party's intention to keep the election campaign simple away from extravagance, dazzling and festivals, taking into account the victims of the earthquake.
How can tourists of earthquake zones understand the triumph of those zones?
Those who find it difficult to understand the votes cast for Erdogan in the earthquake zones cannot understand anything, they are far from understanding society or understanding the victims of the earthquake, and being far from feeling the pain of the earthquake victims from the moment it occurred, they hoped for one thing from that earthquake: that the entire reputation of Erdogan and the AKP would be under the rubble.
Erdogan and civil society were supporting the victims away from politics, and social organizations were interested in soothing their conditions and healing their wounds, all of them felt that the pain of the earthquake victims was their personal pain, so the earthquake survivors were able to distinguish very well between those who were part of the same suffering body that felt and worked to alleviate it and those who exploited their pain from afar, and those on the street could know very well this fact.
People are always smarter than we imagine, and their hearts are able to distinguish between those who truly suffer for their pain and those who exploit their pain for illusory gains.
Erdogan has not stopped serving even those who do not vote for him
On the other hand, the AKP did not stop providing the best services even to the regions that had never voted for it in many years, and did not hesitate for a moment to provide the greatest service in its history to the eastern provinces that voted for the HDP against the AKP to a large extent, and to Izmir that did not hesitate to vote for the CHP strongly, and this will never change, everyone is Erdogan's citizens, who elects him and who does not.
The idea that Erdogan could be re-elected and that he was not ostracized as they expected will not quickly wake up from its shock and will confuse their union and question their estimates that they have promoted over several years, and as a result their credibility will be hit dead, and because they cannot understand and see this they cannot avoid defeat against Erdogan, he has never tasted defeat, and this will always be the case hopefully.
