He's one of the most sincere and self-deprecating guys I've ever met. It is not usually given its species in bullfighting. That is why this interview starts at the end, when the interviewer underlines his capacity to demand himself and Ginés Marín responds matter-of-factly: "One must be clear. Life and bullfighting are not to give coba. The demand is maximum, and if one does not demand it is difficult to get to a place before. " We arrived at this point after analyzing his great moment, the fullness sought, his glorious passage through Seville, his triumphant first appointment in Madrid, where he returns this Friday. But we also address the times, why not before, the stages that he recognizes misguided from his concept "by the need to succeed": "I had lost the direction of deepening my concept, which is what I must do, sacrificing it to cut ears. It is a very difficult dilemma in young bullfighters. The fast way or the slowest way."

From Seville to Madrid, as soon as the bulls have lent themselves a little, the sweet moment reached has been demonstrated. Yes, I am comfortable and enjoying. It is true that in the two bullfights before Seville he had not been lucky. But in the Maestranza with a good bull of El Torero and in Madrid with a bull with good possibilities of Montalvo I was at ease. In Seville it was difficult to think that if on Morante's first afternoon after the tail not even he could give a reply, how was someone else going to do it. And you came, with no little impudence, to give him a very torerra reply. It wasn't easy. An afternoon with so much expectation after what happened two or three days before... It was not easy to abstract. I tried to do it and go my own way. I had been dreaming of curdling such a bull in Seville for a long time. The best job of his career in Seville-Without a doubt. I had never been able to show all my conditions. He had written things down, cut off some ears. But I already wanted to be able to do it because I was choking a little bit [laughs]. It is already known that Seville, when luck does not accompany, costs work to bullfighters. Maybe Seville would enter within those similarities that are drawn with the master Paco Camino, who was measured coldly in the Maestranza. Yes, that's true. I was always comforted by that a little. That bullfighters of the magnitude of Master Camino had found it difficult to enter Seville. How do you feel when you compare yourself with Paco Camino nis more or less? Sorry exaggerated. He has been such a great bullfighter that I see the exaggerated purchases. But I don't stop liking it even if I blush. It is bullfighting guiding for me, the concept in which I look. Camino has always pointed him out for his conditions, for the intelligence, the ease that also occurred in him and that in bullfighting has always been a double-edged sword. There are times when ease turns against you because you don't see the difficulties of the bulls. Showing such ease sometimes does not convey to the public. Everything looks colder. But over the years it finds its grounds. Is that sediment already being given where all the virtues that adorn it are forged? I guess. There were times when I have left what I feel in bullfighting and maybe I have not lived up to what was expected of me. Everything is a process. On the other afternoon in Madrid he had the handicap of turning an afternoon that already weighed like a slab. Those evenings affect the morale of the public. He who is not bored is angry. It is difficult to change the mood of the public and even oneself. I tried to put hope and faith in the good things I had seen in the bull. It wasn't easy in the sense of connecting people to the job. But I pulled headlong to manage the bull's forces. He found the height. It was a dilemma. Because if he lowered his hand, the bull lost his and if he didn't, he hooked. It was difficult to save the final defeat. There was a middle ground, even a time between crutch and crutch. The first part of San Isidro has been marked by a terrible wind. The air hurts a lot. You see good bulls and very willing bullfighters conditioned by the wind. We lose a lot of things. Right now there is no one in the ranks who killed the bulls like you. I am not referring only to safety or regularity, but to the purity of the luck of the flyover. So walker too. I try to do it like my bullfighting. With classicism, purity and at the same time kill the bulls slowly, which is the difficult thing. Today the bulls are killed very well by parte of many bullfighters, but perhaps too fast. The other day I also found the conjunction in the second bull. Its two Puertas Grandes in Madrid, both are with bulls from Alcurrucén, of the Núñez blood, which they say is for good bullfighters. From my conformation of the alternative with Barberillo to the bullfight of October 12 with Secretary, so it has been. I am very attracted to its peculiarity of being a bull so covered to the crutch. And it makes me very attentive throughout the fight. This Friday he plays in Madrid with Núñez del Cuvillo and Victoriano del Río. Which one do you have the most faith in? At two. It would be unfair to put more faith in one than the other because maybe then it is the opposite. And the completely Extremaduran poster with Perera and Talavante. Extremadura to power. It's beautiful for the earth. I think the "no tickets" has already been hung. Let's see if I finish my San Isidro in triumph. And if he finishes it off like that, would you think about going to the Charity Run if they call you? It may seem like a silly question, but sometimes it's hard to put a triumph back on the table. That happens when one has doubts. But if you are in a good moment you do not think about it. All the bullfighters like to be in the Beneficencia de Madrid, one of the most important bullfights of the season. In addition, this year has been open to the winners, which is something nice. It is to be valued. Nobody has understood his absence from the Feria de Santiago de Santander, being the winner of last season. I cut off five ears with six bulls as the only sword. Negotiations are the ugliest part of bullfighting. I am calm and looking forward to returning to that square. One thing was said from the beginning and to satisfy other bullfighters I was displaced to another poster. That I do not want to belittle but I did not think the deal was fair.
