Recently, the "Praise the New Era, Share the New Chapter" cultural exhibition and the 33rd National Disabled Persons' Day held by the Tianjin Disabled Persons' Federation were held in Tianjin Haihe Theater. An uplifting opening song and dance "Pilot" kicked off the show. The wonderful performances have distinct and touching characteristics, diverse forms of expression and strong atmosphere of the times, vividly showing the new achievements made by the disabled in Tianjin, and highlighting the spiritual outlook of the vast number of disabled people who are self-improvement and enterprising.

During the performance, 23 caring units and caring enterprises, including Tianyingtai Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. and Yujin Artificial Intelligence Medical Technology Co., Ltd., donated money and materials, launched the "Five Helps, Two Gifts" public welfare brand activity to help the disabled, presented love school bags to disabled children, and distributed "summer cool" materials to the representatives of the disabled. Up to now, during the National Day of Helping the Disabled, nearly 400 caring units, caring enterprises and caring individuals in Tianjin have donated more than 700 million yuan in funds and materials to help the disabled.

During the National Day of Assistance to the Disabled, the 2023 Tianjin Special Job Fair for the Disabled and the Employment Promotion Conference for College Graduates with Disabilities with the theme of "Promoting Employment and Income for the Disabled and Creating a Happy and Beautiful Life" was held in the China (Tianjin) Human Resources Development Promotion Center. The job fair is the first large-scale offline special employment service activity for the disabled held in Tianjin since the in-depth implementation of the "three-year action to promote the employment of persons with disabilities", compared with the previous session, the scale is larger, more recruitment units, more diversified positions, a total of 190 household units enter the recruitment, providing including software engineers, mechanical drawing, mechanical design, office clerks, administrative assistants and other 468 positions, 1745 employment positions, can meet the job search needs of various categories of disabled people.

According to statistics, more than 700 disabled people attended the job fair, negotiated face-to-face with the enterprise, 596 people reached preliminary employment intentions, 293 people entered the appointment interview link, and 34 people signed contracts with the enterprise on the spot.
During the event, various districts of Tianjin carried out a number of activities to help the disabled. The Binhai New Area Disabled Persons' Federation, together with Teda Street, Tianjin Development Zone Charity Association, Chuangmei Helping the Disabled, Loving Family Medical Nursing Home and other co-construction units, carried out the charity sale of the Disabled Moon Flea Market with the theme of "Real Understanding, Sincere Care". The Hexi District Disabled Persons' Federation held the "Building a Service Bridge to Light Up the Employment Road" job promotion activity for the disabled. Provide "tailored" employment support for job seekers with disabilities. The Red Sign Language Song Activity organized by the Hebei District Disabled Persons' Federation allowed community residents to understand sign language, learn to "listen" and understand the voices of the hearing-impaired. The Xiqing District Disabled Persons' Federation invited pediatric experts from the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine to explain and teach the teachers of Sunshine Baby Rehabilitation Institution, conduct rehabilitation assessment for nearly 300 autistic children in the district, formulate rehabilitation service plans and establish health records, laying the foundation for the rehabilitation of autistic children to explore a new rehabilitation service model combining medical treatment and education.
