They formed one of the most glamorous couples of the 2000s. Tony Parker, barely 21 years old, was starting a very promising basketball career.

Eva Longoria directed her very first film

The lovebirds married three years after they met in the Paris region. A union that made the front page of all French and American celebrity magazines. Alas, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker finally separated three years later because of the alleged infidelities of the athlete.

Since her divorce from Tony Parker, Eva Longoria has found love again in the arms of Jose Antonio Baston, with whom she had a baby boy named Santi. On the professional side, the actress embarked on production after the end of Desperate Housewives, and now goes behind the camera with her very first film Flamin' Hot, which follows the incredible rise of the Latino inventor of Cheetos aperitif cookies. It was on this occasion that the American star gave an exclusive interview to our colleagues from Elle magazine to whom she made rare confidences about her union with Tony Parker.

"Everything is better with butter!"

His relationship with the basketball player allowed him to develop one of his great passions: cooking. "When I was married to Tony, he was on the basketball France team and we went to a lot of small towns," recalls the L'Oréal muse. "I remember an incredible restaurant in Fécamp, in a very small family hotel. Tony would go play, and I would stay at the hotel. I made friends with the chef who taught me how to make sauces based on capers or lemon butter. Obviously, everything is better with butter!", exclaims the one who "associates a large part of her history with Tony with French cuisine". "I will always be grateful," says Eva Longoria, who loves coming to France to enjoy the gastronomy.
