• TV Lorena Castell leaves Zapeando by surprise: "How difficult sometimes to explain what one has in mind"

Confirmed: Lorena Castell is the new presenter of Let's get along well, the RTVE program that was canceled after its first program due to its low audience ratings -it marked only a 4.6% share-. In this way, Lorena Castell, who yesterday announced her departure from Zapeando, replaces Ana Morgade.

Let's get along was never canceled at all. RTVE committed after paying more than 3 million for the program to return it to the grid when it was given a spin and a new approach was sought. Well, the focus is the incorporation of Lorena Castell, after Ana Morgade refused to return to the front of the program after marking, as she said, less audience than the "Teletexto".

Lorena Castell leaves Zapeando by surprise: "How difficult sometimes to explain what one has in mind"

The new idea of RTVE for Let's get along well is to turn it into a summer program, a show full of music, spectacle and, above all, a lot of humor, in which two couples of celebrities will face different tests to decide which is the funniest and most knows about the summer.

The program, produced by RTVE in collaboration with The Pool, will have as collaborators Ares Teixidó, Aníbal Gómez and Marina Rivers. Alex O'Dogherty will put the musical touch with La Bizarrería.

In each installment, two couples of celebrities will climb into a ring to face each other in a competition divided into fun assaults of all kinds: musical tests, games of skill, anecdote, viral challenges, nostalgia, sex, etc.

At the end of the fight, once all the rounds have been overcome and after the four guests have answered a "very personal" questionnaire, the audience attending the program will decide which couple should be the winner.

Among the guests, Yolanda Ramos, Palomo Spain, Carolina Iglesias, Manuel Díaz (El Cordobés), Laura Sánchez, Edu Soto, Leo Harlem, Carlos Baute, Manu Baqueiro and Norma Duval, among many others.

On January 31, a few days before the premiere on La 1 of Ana Morgade's program, Let's get along well, the interim president of RTVE answered a parliamentary question from the PP what had been the contracts of the public entity with the producer The Pool in the last 8 years. Then, few gave importance to the costs of the numerous productions, but now, when one of the programs was released and canceled practically at the same time, that response has generated interest for the cost of the program, for the agreed episodes and because obviously what RTVE paid has fallen on deaf ears.

The amount of the hiring of Let's get along with The Pool was 3,529,011.06 euros for 10 chapters of an approximate duration of 100 minutes each. Of those 10 episodes, it only aired. RTVE decided, as announced by Ana Morgade herself, to cancel the program hours after its broadcast.

The audience figure was much lower than expected: it remained at 4.6% of the share; around 486,000 viewers. Its broadcast was scheduled at 22:00 at night, but after the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, RTVE delayed it until 22:50 to broadcast before an informative special that obtained slightly higher numbers (5.1% share; 749,000 viewers). The first program was broadcast, therefore, almost an hour later than initially planned and with less audience in front of the screen.

Even so, that 4.6% share remains half of the average of the chain on that day and in a strip as important as prime time: TVE 1 marked 9.3% on Monday compared to 12.2% of Telecinco and 15.9% of Antena 3.

RTVE had presented this bet as "a current affairs program with humor, interviews and reports in which the one that makes you laugh the most wins". The project had not started well. Another professional of the medium, Marisol Galdón, publicly commented on her surprise at the fact that it was called Let's get along well, a name identical to that of a project that she herself had presented to the chain. In a message on social networks he also showed the registration in the Intellectual Property Registry.
