The reporter learned on the 23rd that the first large-scale original dance drama "Red Jade Green Jade" produced by the China Coal Mine Cultural Troupe will premiere at the Beijing Erqi Theater from May 5 to 5. The play is a 7 large-scale stage play and work creation grant project of the National Arts Fund.
The dance drama "Red Jade Green Jade" gathers the famous screenwriter Jiang Mingchu, chief choreographer Nian Yunhua, executive director Cui Tao, Zhu Han, Wang Peixian, composer Yue Shaopeng, Zhang Quanwu, stage design Meng Qin, lighting design Wang Yang, costume design Yang Donglin, makeup styling design Jia Lei, multimedia design Hu Tianji, sound consultant Ma Xin, sound design Zhang Haikun, prop design Wang Jiang, poster design Zhang Hongke, outstanding young choreographer director Zhou Wencai, Li Yanchao, Shi Tao, Wang Shiru and other main creators, starring young dancers Zhu Han and Song Jie, Song Yang, Li Yimeng, Pei Ruoying and others served as executive rehearsals, and dancers of the China Coal Mine Cultural Troupe and young dancers of the Dance Drama Department of the Central Academy of Drama performed together.

The story is very legendary, and the whole play is divided into six acts: the prologue "Emerald Bird" and "Emerald City", "Emerald Tears", "Emerald Edge", "Emerald Road", "Emerald Mountain", "Emerald Heart", and the epilogue "Emerald Love".
The main line of the whole drama is the love experience of the hero Duan Fei and the heroine Cin Xiaoyu and their love and adherence to the art of ingenious carving. After experiencing the test of family decay due to gambling stones and opposition from parents in love, the love between the two is still as innocent and beautiful as jadeite.
According to reports, the play highly condenses traditional cultural elements, with jadeite rough elements running through the whole play, deeply excavating and interpreting the warm, pure, and chaste spiritual connotation and life meaning of its metaphor: only by "holding humble and diligent" can we carve a beautiful life.
