The famous wizard Harry Potter settles down in Paris for an exhibition at the Porte de Versailles. 25 years after the release of the first book in the fantasy saga, Hogwarts moves to Paris with 25 rooms filled with sets, costumes and other props used during the filming of the film.

This Friday morning the doors of Hogwarts opened... at the Porte de Versailles in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. The most passionate of the famous hero Harry Potter will be able to transport themselves to the magical world of their favorite wizard and discover the authentic costumes and accessories used during filming. Europe 1 went there.

"Embark on a journey through the extraordinary wizarding world," announces a recorded voice as you walk through the doors of the exhibition. Enough to immerse visitors in the magical universe of the saga, crossing the various cult sets of the films, such as the great hall of the magic school, Hagrid's hut or the potions room. This is a source of great pride for Tom Zaller, the producer of the exhibition. "My dream is that when people arrive, they will be transported to Hogwarts."

"I really feel like I'm there"

The immersive experience is also meant to be interactive, as Philippe Roucoule, head of Warner Bros. in France, explains: "You can have a very immersive experience. Cast spells, make potions and you can also play quidditch." And it is a successful mission for the organizers of the exhibition, because the fans are conquered. This is the case of Stina and her friends, amazed by seeing the chopsticks and costumes of their favorite characters. "I love it! As soon as I knew Harry Potter, I wanted to live in that world. And now, I really feel like I'm there," she says.

And what her friends liked best was the opportunity to actively participate in the exhibition. "It's a real dive into the history (of the saga), into the movies. It's funny the interactive side and being able to choose." And for those who are afraid to miss it, do not panic, the exhibition will last until next October and 200,000 tickets have already been sold.
