On the 28th, in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, a boat capsized while going down the Hozu River, killing one boatman and missing another boatman, and the police and fire department are continuing to search for the missing boatman on the 1th.

Just before noon on the 28th, a boat on the Hozu River, commonly known as Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, capsized with 3 people, including 25 tourists including three children and four boatmen, and all of them were temporarily thrown into the river.

All the guests were rescued, but the boatman, Saburo Tanaka, 4, was killed in the accident, and another boatman, a man in his 29s, is also missing.

Police and fire departments have been searching for the missing boatman from the vicinity of the scene to the lower reaches of the river again with about 1 people since the morning of the 51th.

According to the operating company, when the accident occurred, Mr. Tanaka, who died out of the four boatmen, was the first to adjust the direction of the boat, and two of them, including the missing boatman, were holding the "paddle" right behind Mr. Tanaka and becoming rowers.

Another boatman was "steering" at the very back of the boat, but he accidentally fell into the river with the way he took the helm.

At that time, the missing boatman in front moved to the back to take the helm instead, but the boat was not ready and hit a rock and capsized.

In response to the accident, the National Transportation Safety Board dispatched two ship accident investigators to the site to investigate the cause from the afternoon of the 40th.
