Debuted in the 60s

His son Niklas Strömstedt confirms the death on Instagram and has since posted a poem by his father, Bo Strömstedt.

Margareta Strömstedt's latest book was published in 2013 and was entitled "I would so much like to seduce you - but I can't bear it" and is autobiographical.

In it, she talks about the breakups both from the free church upbringing and the housewife role as the wife of Bo Strömstedt, then editor-in-chief at Expressen, to make a career herself.

Started as a reviewer

She was born in Småland in 1931 and began her career as a children's book reviewer at Dagens Nyheter. During the 70s, she started as a television producer, making author documentaries, among other things.

About what happens after death, Margareta Strömstedt said this to Svenska Dagbladet in connection with her 80th birthday:

- I have no idea. But I often think it's going to be exciting to see. And do you know what I'm thinking too? Well, the best thing about it all is that it's not me who decides. No one will say it's my fault if it goes bad.
