After the success of The Snow Girl, Netflix returns to ally with Javier Castillo in two new projects and announced on Tuesday that it will bring to the screen the bestsellers The Game of the Soul and The Crystal Cuckoo.
The Soul Game is the continuation of The Snow Girl and follows in Miren's footsteps in the investigation of a new case. The series is in pre-production, Netflix said in a statement.

The adaptation of The Glass Cuckoo, a novel published by Penguin Random House in February of this year, will soon begin its development. In just two months, the novel, a new original story by Javier Castillo independent of his previous trilogies, has sold almost 100,000 copies in Spanish in all formats.
The phenomenon of The Snow Girl on Netflix reached in its premiere week the global top 1 of most watched non-English speaking series and was in the Top 10 of 77 countries for several weeks, including number 1 in countries such as Spain, France, Sweden or Belgium.
