As one of the first national historical and cultural cities, the first East Asian cultural capital and a world heritage city, Quanzhou has always attached great importance to the development of literature.
Li Jianhui, director of the Standing Committee of the Quanzhou Municipal People's Congress, introduced that in recent years, Quanzhou has successively hosted the "Belt and Road" work symposium between the China Writers Association and some provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government (Literature and Culture), the 11th "Selected Novels" annual award ceremony, "Let Novels Enter the People" and Haisi literary creation exchanges and other activities, which have attracted great attention from the literary circle.

At the opening ceremony, writers Alai, Su Tong, Zang Yongqing, president of the People's Literature Publishing House, and other guests and leaders unveiled the "People's Literature Publishing House Creation Base" and "People's Literature Publishing House Cai Chongda Publishing Studio".
Zang Yongqing pointed out that the "People's Literature Publishing House Creation Base" is the first creative base set up by the People's Literature Publishing House, and in the future, literary masters and editors of famous periodicals will be invited to hold various forms of literary lectures, select and support outstanding young authors, and recommend the publication and publication of excellent literary works.
Cai Chongda said that after the studio landed, it will be based in Fujian and the southeast of the motherland, continue to excavate literary riches, and look forward to more literary creators coming to Quanzhou to experience Quanzhou.
