Brewing tea soup, ice cups, adding syrup and ice cubes to shake... During the conversation with reporters, "post-00s" Zhu Jiacheng completed a new Chinese tea concoction called "White Tea Mojito". A cup in the throat, fresh and refreshing, cold and thorough, with the fragrance of mint and white tea, the aftertaste remains between the teeth.

During the spring equinox, spring is in full swing. Zhu Jiacheng was one of the overseas Chinese media "Reading Huangshan Yujian Tunxi" visiting Demingshe Tea Art Vocational Training School in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, where Wang Sun, the founder of the school and representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage project Huizhou tea ceremony, was guiding the trainees to make "New Chinese Tea Drink".

Zhu Jiacheng, born in 2009, is currently studying at Yucheng Middle School in Tunxi District, Huangshan City, and has been studying tea art at a tea art training school for nearly three years. On weekends and holidays, he spends almost every weekend "brewing" in a tea art training school.

Zhu Jiacheng told reporters that he learned this Chinese tea in three days. "My hometown Huangshan is a place rich in tea, tea making skills have a long history, as a young generation of Huangshan people, I want to pass on and carry forward this excellent traditional Chinese culture, and I will share what I have learned with my classmates when I have time."

According to Wang Sun, the new Chinese tea blending is an innovation in the process of tea culture spreading, which is based on different types of tea, plus the unique flavor of Huangshan, including wine, juice, milk cap, etc., which is deeply loved by young people. The continuous popularity of "fancy tea drinking" has enabled more people, especially teenagers, to feel the charm of tea culture up close.

Wang Sun told reporters that the innovation of tea production technology is not to abandon traditional tea art, but to launch a new expression of tea culture on the basis of traditional production technology to adapt to the diversified tea lifestyle of young people.

"The consumer group of the new Chinese tea drink is basically (middle) youth." Wang Sun believes that the nutritional value and health attributes of tea are relatively strong, and hopes that the younger generation can have early access to traditional Chinese tea, which is beneficial to their growth and the future development of the tea industry.

It is understood that Demingshe Tea Art Vocational Training School, founded in 2015, is one of the earliest professional tea art vocational training schools in southern Anhui and one of the first batch of third-party social evaluation institutions for vocational skill levels in Anhui Province.

The school also provides vocational skill level identification, skill competitions, employment services, etc. through "passing, helping and leading", providing all-round and multi-level services for the growth of skilled talents, and has sent more than 5000,<> tea art and tea evaluation professionals to enterprises and related units.

"We often carry out some 'Huizhou tea ceremony into campus' activities. In the meantime, primary school students can experience traditional tea culture, and middle school students will make some innovative drinks. Wang Sun believes that learning tea art can calm students down. The process of learning tea-making skills is also a thought process, which is conducive to alleviating their anxiety and soothing the tense learning atmosphere.

Nowadays, more and more "intangible cultural heritage youth" are turning the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage culture and traditional craftsmanship into a trendy and cool profession. According to statistics, as of August last year, China had established a four-level intangible cultural heritage list system at the national, provincial, municipal and county levels, and more than 8,4 representative items of intangible cultural heritage had been recognized. Relevant departments have identified more than 10,9 representative inheritors at all levels, of which the proportion of young people has increased year by year.

At the same time, more and more outstanding intangible cultural heritage items have entered schools, classrooms and teaching materials, and the social organizations and volunteer teams for the protection of intangible cultural heritage have steadily expanded, and young people are a vital force among them.
