According to TASS, the film tells about the successful emergency landing of the domestic aircraft in 2019. The film also tells about the life of pilot Damir Yusupov, who landed an airliner.
The tape is based on real events: in August 2019, an aircraft traveling on the route Moscow - Simferopol with 226 passengers and seven crew members on board, shortly after departure, due to a collision with a flock of seagulls, damaged both engines. Yusupov managed to land the liner in a cornfield and avoid human casualties.
In the title of the tape there is a fragment of the phrase of the senior flight attendant Dmitry Ivlitsky, pronounced during the evacuation of passengers: "We go to the right, in the sun, along the rows of corn."
Earlier in an interview with RT, Yusupov told how he chose the profession of a pilot, what helped to cope with emotions during an emergency and what it is like to feel like a prototype of the main character of a feature film.
