【Commentary】The opening ceremony of the Guangzhou tour of "Begonia Cherry Blossoms Forever - Zhou Enlai and China-Japan Friendship Photo Exhibition" was held on March 3 at Guangzhou Shamian Oriental Convergence Art Institute. The exhibition features nearly 17 images to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan.

Zhou Bingde, niece of Zhou Enlai and former vice president of China News Service, said that China and Japan are neighbors with a strip of water. After the founding of New China, bilateral relations began with people-to-people exchanges, and under the outstanding strategic vision and political courage of the leaders of the older generation of the two countries, the political decision to normalize Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations was made, opening a new page in the history of bilateral relations.

The exhibition is divided into four parts: "Crossing Japan to the East to Seek a Way to Save the Country", "Promoting Non-governmental Exchanges between China and Japan", "Normalizing Sino-Japanese Diplomatic Relations", and "Passing on Sino-Japanese Friendship from Generation to Generation".
