On the morning of the 15th, off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, two ships of the China Coast Guard intruded into Japan's territorial waters to match the movement of a nearby Japanese yacht.

The Japan Coast Guard Headquarters patrol boat continues to ensure the safety of the yachts and warns the Coast Guard ships to leave the territorial waters immediately.

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, around 9:00 am on the 15th, two of the four China Coast Guard ships navigating the contiguous waters just outside Japan's territorial waters were on Minamikojima Island in the Senkaku Islands. off the coast of , intruded into territorial waters to match the movements of Japanese yachts that were nearby.



As of 9:20 am, the two ships are said to be sailing about 1 km away from the Japanese yacht, which is about 20 km off the east-southeast of Minamikojima.



The Japan Coast Guard patrol boats ensure the safety of the yachts, and continue to warn the Coast Guard ships to leave the territorial waters immediately.



This is the seventh time since the 24th of last month that a Chinese Coast Guard ship has been confirmed to have intruded into Japan's territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands.
