Shortly after 10:00 a.m., at Hiroshima Shudo University Hiroshima Kyoso Junior High School in Nishi Ward, Hiroshima City, the fire department received a report saying, "Students are complaining that there is a strange smell and they are not feeling well."



According to the police, 9 out of 27 first-year students who were taking classes in the same classroom complained of headaches and nausea and were transported to the hospital.
