The higher the temperature, the earlier the cherry blossom season will start.
Although cold air frequently appeared in my country in February this year, its intensity was weak, and the average maximum temperature in many cherry blossom viewing places in my country was on the high side.
Due to the high temperature, the flowering period of cherry blossom viewing spots in Wuhan, Nanjing, Wuxi and Changsha this year is earlier than the average date of the average year. It needs to be done as soon as possible.
In addition to meteorological conditions, varieties are another important reason for the differences in the flowering period of cherry blossoms in various places.
Cherry blossoms can be divided into early cherry blossoms, middle cherry blossoms and late cherry blossoms. Among them, early cherry blossoms have a certain ability to resist cold, so some early cherry blossom varieties can be seen in late January for spring.
The shape of cherry blossoms of different varieties is also quite different. There are double petals and single petals. For example, the famous Somei Yoshino has double petals, and the Taiwan cherry blossoms grown in Taiwan of my country have single petals.
There is also a rare variety with multiple petals - chrysanthemum cherry, which is a late cherry variety that resembles a chrysanthemum. A chrysanthemum cherry can have hundreds of petals, and it usually does not bloom until May.
