China News Service, Changchun, March 7th (Tan Weiqi) The machines in the workshop roared, but it did not affect Wang Liping's work rhythm at all.

She has been engaged in non-destructive testing for 23 years, and she has never had any wrong detection or missing detection.

Wang Liping, 46 years old this year, is the team leader of the flaw detection quality inspection team of the bogie quality control room of the Quality Assurance Department of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd.

There are 54 employees in Wang Liping's team, of which only three are women.

The International Women's Day is approaching, and my colleagues also sent festival blessings to the three of them while they were busy.

Non-destructive testing, also known as "flaw detection", is to detect defects on the surface and inside of parts without destroying or damaging the parts.

Wang Liping introduced that the principle of non-destructive testing in industry is the same as that of physical examination in medicine. People need to see a doctor when they are sick, and non-destructive inspectors are needed if there are defects in high-speed rail. Ultrasonic and X-ray testing should also be done.

Wang Liping has participated in the non-destructive testing tasks of all main passenger car bogie components since the speed increase of China's railways.

"Women have their own advantages in this work." Wang Liping said that female employees are careful, patient, emotionally stable, not easily bored and impatient, and they are gentle and precise in operation. They work well with male employees and complement each other.

"The 'heart' of a car is the engine, and the 'heart' of a rail vehicle is the bogie. The bogie determines the main performance of the rail vehicle's speed, running quality, and safety." Wang Liping introduced that each high-speed rail car bogie has to carry 20 tons The above weight runs at a speed of 300 km/h, and the requirements for quality are very high.

As a flaw detector, Wang Liping is rooted in the front line every day, skilled in using electromagnetic, ultrasonic, X-ray, penetration and other non-destructive testing methods, and has completed the testing tasks of China's main high-speed EMU bogies with high quality, and the steering of various types of urban rail buses. It has accumulated rich experience in flaw detection tasks of frame and non-destructive testing of export rail passenger car bogies.

For example, Wang Liping said that it is really not easy to find the clues of defects from complex ultrasound images and pitch-black X-ray films, and it requires years of hard work and a large number of case accumulation.

When she first joined the job, she followed the master to learn the essentials of operation during the day, and practiced and summarized at night.

Wang Liping recalled that in order not to let herself doze off, she "soaked" herself in coffee every day, and finally read the theoretical books on the four detection methods, realizing the theory-guided practice.

Now, Wang Liping has become the head of CRRC Changke's non-destructive testing model worker innovation studio, and has built a talent echelon of non-destructive testing skills.

She said that she would give every team member the opportunity to exercise and cultivate a qualified talent team.
